What we collect on this site, why, and how to ask us to delete it.

What We Collect

  • Forms. When you send a message or request a document we collect your name, work email, company, the topic you chose and anything you write in the message. It is delivered to us by email at contact@crystallotus.co, and we use it to reply to you and, if you asked for a document, to send it. If our HubSpot connection is switched on, a copy is also stored in HubSpot, our customer relationship system, which processes it on our behalf. The forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than an automated script; to do that Cloudflare looks at your IP address and some characteristics of your browser, and does not use them to track you across sites.
  • Server Logs. Our hosting provider records the IP address, browser and pages requested for each visit, for security and to keep the site running. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not used to identify you.
  • Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read and where visitors come from. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your browser and does not track you across sites; the IP address is used only to work out the country and is not stored.
  • Cookies. This site sets no cookies of its own. If we enable visitor analytics through HubSpot, it sets cookies to recognise a returning browser; we will update this page when that happens.

Your Rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing contact@crystallotus.co. We answer within one month. If you are in the UK or the EU you can also complain to your data protection authority. We keep form submissions for as long as we are in a conversation with you, and delete them within two years of the last contact unless we are working together.

Transfers

We are based in India and use HubSpot, whose servers may be in the United States or the EU. Where data leaves the UK or the EU it is covered by the standard contractual clauses in our agreement with HubSpot.
